Gregory White

Greg White has a Ph.D. in Social Psychology (UCLA, 1976) and an APA approved Clinical Psychology doctoral respecialization (George Washington University, 1982). Currently he is Professor of Psychology at National University and co-Director of Inspirational Journeys wellness programs (www.inspirationaljourneys.org). His current theoretical and research interests include cognitive and affective processes in dreaming; use of mindfulness and other meditation forms in psychotherapy; wellness training; and emotion. He has supervised and trained social, clinical, and counseling graduate students and interns, medical students, and medical residents. He is past Director of the Psychology Clinic of the University of Auckland, Chair of Behavioral Sciences at the University of Auckland Medical School, Chief of Psychology for Shasta County, CA, Community Mental Health. He has also been a full-time faculty at the University of Maryland (College Park), the University of California (Santa Cruz), and Southern Oregon University. He is California licensed Psychologist (PSY 8099) and has maintained a private practice since 1982.
